Agree with your observation Edd. In my view, at both government and industry level, we have gone too far with metrics and data driven analysis of problems, solutions and performance. It is my opinion that one reason why there is lack of growth in the UK is because we have stifled, oversaturated ourselves with these things to the point where we find it more difficult to think more freely, creatively and spontaneously. The 'heroic' element of our minds is being suffocated. We need more balance between the rational, analytic methods with the right-side brain skills. Its not all about stimulating growth by changing macro economic policy! Yes, and this is where encouraging the arts comes into it!

@Michael Mangroo I think one senior artist who writes their own songs and has lived through maybe 40 years of the music industry should have their perspective included and voice heard on any decision made by a government

Test out the new profile builder. I'm hoping this could help musicians customise their own website without needing to rely on other services. View the different Menu tabs, my profile, and you can see that I've added a service product, like recording services, and an album of mine that can be streamed or bought.
You can connect a payment method via Stripe and sell products from your profile. World Music Method isn't going to take any commission for this. Stripe works in most European or Northern American countries but for South America and Asia I'll soon be adding other systems so you can connect to local payment methods which are popular in your country.
I'll be regularly improving what we're offering here so send me a message via my profile with any feedback, observations, or advice, big or small. Coming soon if you teach online lessons, you'll be able to run these through our new music-focused video call software and manage the whole process from calendar scheduling and payments by your profile. There's a lot more going on behind the scenes, which I'm still testing and building and looking forward to showing you soon.
