Rubén Ramos Medina, originally from Colon City, Panama, began his musical journey in percussion before embracing the bass guitar at the age of 13. Graduating from the Interamerican University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, his musical pursuits catapulted him to collaborate with renowned artists like Carlos Garnett and Danilo Pérez. Equipped with a Major in Music, Ruben ventured into the realm of bass improvisation, eawinning awards at global festivals like Master-Jam Festival in Odessa, Ukraine.

His musical voyage spans performances with illustrious names, from Carnival Cruise Lines to London’s Moulin Rouge musical, showcasing his versatility across Latin American rhythms and jazz improvisation. From jam sessions with Billy Cobham to enthralling audiences alongside Cuban icons like Compay Segundo, Rubén has etched his name as an acclaimed bassist and composer, celebrated for his diverse musical expertise and innovative artistry.
