Take Your Guitar Playing Beyond The Ordinary
Flamenco is one of the most demanding and expressive forms of guitar playing. Have you ever watched a flamenco guitarist effortlessly follow a singer, anticipating every shift in melody, somehow knowing exactly which chord to play next even when the progression is improvised? They drive the rhythm while weaving intricate lines, navigating time signatures that seem to stretch and contract with an extra beat appearing out of nowhere.
How do they do that?
Under the expert guidance of Fernando Perez, you’ll break down the essential elements of flamenco and learn to apply them in a real musical setting. This course focuses on four core palos: Tangos, Soleá, AlegrÃas, and BulerÃas, taught in the most practical way possible. Rather than just memorizing licks, you’ll be training alongside a flamenco singer (cantaor) and cajón player, learning how to accompany, respond, and perform within the true dynamic of live flamenco.
From mastering rasgueados, abanicos, golpes, and falsetas to developing a deep understanding of flamenco’s rhythmic cycles, this course will prepare you to play with confidence, whether solo or in an ensemble. This is more than just learning technique. It’s about fluency, expression, and the ability to truly feel the music.
