Rubén Ramos Medina is a Panamanian bassist who discovered his passion for bass guitar at age 13 after starting with percussion. A graduate of the Interamerican University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Rubén has built an impressive career performing with renowned artists including Carlos Garnett, Danilo Pérez, Billy Cobham, and Cuban legends like Compay Segundo. His expertise spans Latin American rhythms and jazz improvisation, earning him recognition at international festivals such as the Master-Jam Festival in Ukraine, and his versatile artistry has taken him from Carnival Cruise Lines to London’s West End and beyond.
