@lauren-standifer Sounding great. The Mande/Mandingue/Mandinka empire began in Mali and they ruled Guinea/Senegal/Gambia/Burkina Faso so that’s why there are some similarities in language groups, ethnic groups, traditional instruments and of course music in these countries.
