Day 1 in Pakistan. I found a highway in Johor Town which (supposedly) has 500 different Qawwali cafe’s at various points along the side of the road. The first one I tried wasn’t that pumping but this second one had an awesome family band playing. Father on dhollak, duaghter on vocals, sons on tabla and harmonium, grandad on flute and the mother sitting at the side taking the money people through at the band and not smiling much! Was encouraged to sing a tune and this is what came out.
