So here’s my latest on the Brazilian guitar course, the tune Wave by Antônio Carlos Jobim. Spent a little too long tryna figure this one out and is still a little rusty but figured I ought to post it anyway. I often find myself these days somewhere between “letting go of perfectionism” and ” but Baden Powell does it like that” haha. After observing so much his ability to play a melody not only over but woven within samba rhythms I cant help but feel compelled to give it a try, it really pushes the limits of the instrument and callibrates the thumb and the fingers to be able to work in greater independence in way, but also in a sort of union. Good but confusing fun haha

@borneoftherhythm That looks great Rob. Well done for learning it all the way through and staying dedicated to every part of the tune. Great groove

@edd hey thanks Edd, there were a few times where it was just like this isnt actually gonna be possible to keep the melody going here but just kept trying and eventually something would appear. Good test for perseverance. Really enjoyed it
