I started my journey back in 2003-2005 when I received Jesus as my saviour. The desire to play the guitar came from nowhere, and I began pursuing it right after joining a church. The choir director was offering music lessons to anyone interested, and he spotted me since I was a fast learner. He took me to his music school, and a journey into classical studies began. I was able to enrol and sit for various exams under the ABRSM music body and did my grade 6 classical exam in 2006. Later, I had a great desire to play lead guitar due to the demands within the church music, and that’s where I heard Sebene, and it sounded foreign and difficult. This is a musical language I have been trying to develop, especially now that I function as the worship guitarist. This calls for versatility and a good ear for different genres, sebene has been a mountain I would like to conquer. I have been a strings( violin and all guitars)  teacher since 2005 to date in international schools and settings.
