My Musical Journey	I’m a singer songwriter based in County Cork, Ireland. My main instrument is the guitar with secondary being piano. My music could be described as Indie folk with a strong world music influence. I love learning about all types of world music but West African, Cuban and South American are my favourites. I’ve lived all over Europe but I’m currently back home in my hometown Bantry on the South West coast of Ireland.

What's special about these songs?	Ben Howard, Michael Kiwanuka and Nick Mulvey are three contemporary singer songwriters that in my opinion are pushing the envelope of what can be done in the genre. Kiwanuka and Mulvey in particular draw a lot from world music , in particular African music. The special aspect of these particular musicians is that their music connects on a deep emotional level and provides spaces for reflection and processing which i really like.
