Been playing since I was 9 y.o., studied classical guitar in Athens Conservatoire and electric guitar performance in Lab Music Education (Athens, Greece).

After years of focusing on the study of western music (rock, blues, rock n’ roll, folk and jazz), I was suddenly fascinated by the Tuareg rock and Desert blues style, which I’m slowly getting into.

I find the style to be the future of the “hard” sound, not only because of the nuances and the revolutionary elements to it, but also because it incarnates several vital characteristics of the music of the
Mediterranean, as well as the styles developed in the pop music of the 50s and on. It carries that raw energy of rock music, finding its’ roots in Africa (where it historically comes from), this time in its’ full form.
