My Musical Journey | Guitarist, composer/songwriter, producer and retired bandleader with long held vision of fusing the energy, musical depth, attitude and vitality of African and other tropical style guitar dance music with a mix of English lyrics and a more mainstream approach to song structure and presentation, with the intention of producing dance and other music with mass market cross-generational appeal. Here are a few link to my online music and videos (mostly old as I have been hampered by health issues for many tears, and I havn’t got much that I have worked on recently finished and in a state toi put online yet. https://soundcloud.com/tim-llewelly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY6jtenXCtU&feature=youtu.be https://soundcloud.com/user-968026643 https://soundcloud.com/user-968026643 https://soundcloud.com/user-414601860 https://drtim1.bandcamp.com/album/tropical-dancing-fever-ep https://drtim1.bandcamp.com/album/afropop-dancing-fevel-ep-2 https://drtim1.bandcamp.com/album/sweet-love-ep I played with Toumani Diabate for a short while in 1987 and Channel 4 made a documentary of Womad at Glatonbury 1987 which included a short section on that project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nKNqEc8nKs&t=2379s

What's special about these songs? | Grand Zaiko Bayaka title track from the album Ba Penses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uWZOtWmB3c I picked up up this album sometime in the late 1980’s. It is a wonderful record, notwithstanding the programmed drums. Manuako on lead guitar Diskogs link (includes full personel) https://www.discogs.com/release/7317897-Grand-Za%C3%AFko-Bayaka-Ba-Pens%C3%A9es Another fantastic album i picked up in the late 1980, although mine has different cover. Shame about the skips in this vinyl rip though. I even had the start as my phone ringtone for ages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwAwOckyNho
