Play with the World’s Finest Musicians
A great musician is shaped by the company they keep. If you want to develop groove, confidence, and endurance, you need to play with great musicians. The Backing Track Directory gives you direct access to an expansive library of professionally recorded backing tracks featuring master musicians from across the globe. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, keys, horns, or any other instrument, this is your opportunity to train in real-world musical settings.
These aren’t generic play-alongs. Many tracks feature adjustable mixes, allowing you to mute or isolate instruments to refine your skills. Whether you’re comping over Latin rhythms, locking into African grooves, or improvising over Indian ragas, this resource helps you internalize the feel, phrasing, and interaction of live performance.
Use these tracks to develop your improvisation, rhythm, and ensemble awareness, the best way to grow as a musician is by playing, so step in and take the stage.

Can the speed of the backing tracks be slowed substantially by the user, so that less accomplished players can ease their way in to working with them?
Yes. In the control bar below the backing track the default speed setting is 100%. Change that to be slower or faster without changing the pitch, however I find when you go below 70% of the original speed with any audio recordings naturally it’s going to sound a bit weird. You can use that speed setting on any of our lessons also.
That’s good to know, thanks Edd
